I hope that everyone had a good and joyous holiday season and found everything in order when you got back to work in January.
Our
December event was another resounding success. The "Annual
Christmas lunch and silent auction" raised
$3,455.00 for the Queen Alexander Elementary School.
A huge “Thank You!” to our community who supported our annual Christmas Charity Luncheon held in December. Through your generous contributions and donations, the NATC .
This year’s event was in support of the lunch program at Queen Alexandra School in Edmonton. Queen Alexandra is a south side school with many students from disadvantaged situations. As is the case with past auction recipients, many of the students at the school come without a meal at lunch, prompting the teachers to start their own program to ensure these children receive at least one good meal a day.
We had over 60 very generous people at this years function and by all reports a good time was had by all.
The Council will be back in form for the next few months. You can find a list of events planned below and more information will be coming out in the days and weeks to follow.
Sincerely yours,
Patti Dunlop, President, NATC
