The Northern Alberta Transportation Council (NATC) is a professional association founded in 1968, to promote cooperation between the users and suppliers of transportation. Its members include representatives from all modes of transportation, including representatives from air, water, cartage, warehousing, customs brokers, freight forwarders, motor carriers and rail, as well as with the major businesses and governments that rely on these services.
The objectives of the NATC are:
| To provide an opportunity for individuals with an interest in transportation and logistics to meet on a regular basis and discuss, in the spirit of cooperation, all facets of the transportation of people and goods. | |
| To develop a better understanding by the public about the importance of the various modes of transportation. | |
| To inspire a sense of importance and dignity within the transportation/logistics profession. |
